🌅 When the Day Feels Heavy: Holding On to Hope
Scripture:
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22-23
When You Feel Weary
Some mornings feel heavy before they begin.
The list of tasks feels endless. Worries sneak in like shadows—finances, health, family needs. The weight of the world presses hard.
I’ve been there—sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee gone cold, wondering if I have what it takes. And here’s what I’ve found: I don’t.
But He does.
God never asked us to carry it all. His mercies aren’t a one-time gift—they’re new every morning. Like the sunrise across the pasture, His light breaks through the dark.
3 Ways I Remind Myself of Hope
Speak the Word aloud – Say, “Your mercies are new today,” until your heart believes it.
Start small – One prayer. One verse. One breath of surrender.
Look for His fingerprints – In the laughter of a child, the warmth of sunlight, the quiet peace in prayer.
Today’s Prayer
Lord, when I feel weary, lift my eyes to You. Remind me that Your love never runs out and Your strength never fails.
