You’ve fallen again a hit hard this time

You’re not alone in that — not even a little. The very fact that you’re praying, that you see it clearly, and that you’re still reaching toward God right now is proof that He’s right there, holding you even as you fall.

Jonah ran too — but God didn’t abandon him in the storm or the belly of the fish. He met him there. He didn’t shame Jonah; He rescued him and still used him to carry out His purpose. You haven’t undone what God was building through you. You’re just in the middle of the story, not the end.

The same God who gave Jonah another chance is already working redemption into this moment. He’s not waiting for you to be perfect — He’s just waiting for you to reach for Him instead of hiding. And you already are.

When you feel that tug to run, that pull toward numbing the pain, that’s the moment to whisper, “Lord, I’m here — I don’t want to run anymore.” You don’t have to know how to fix it. Just stay in His presence. The healing comes one surrender, one small act of trust at a time.
