In the belly of the fish, Jonah remembers God. At rock bottom, stripped of distractions, he prays with desperation and clarity. It’s in the dark that Jonah finally looks up. This moment reminds us that no place is too far, no pit too deep, no heart too distant for prayer to reach heaven.
