🌿 Day 5 – Delighting in Mercy
Scripture:
“Who is a God like You, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of His inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.”
— Micah 7:18
🌸 Reflection
Mercy isn’t something God offers reluctantly—it’s His joy. He delights in forgiving, restoring, and welcoming us back. Where we might expect punishment, He offers compassion. Where we brace for rejection, He opens His arms.
It’s hard for our hearts to grasp love that steady and kind. We often hold on to guilt long after God has let it go. But His mercy is not a reluctant gesture; it’s a radiant expression of who He is.
Let that truth settle deep today: the Lord delights in showing you mercy. You don’t have to earn His forgiveness—just receive it. Walk gently in that grace, knowing His heart is glad when you draw near. 💛
🌼 Gentle Practice
🌿 Reflect on a time you felt undeserving of grace—thank God for meeting you with mercy instead.
🕊️ Whisper: “You delight in showing mercy. I receive it with gratitude.”
💛 Offer that same mercy to someone else today—a soft word, a second chance, a gentle heart.
